The project will be working on the site this Saturday 6/12/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• General trades contractor will be working on sheetrocking activities in the building.
• Taping contractor will be working on taping and finishing sheetrocking activities on the second level of Area A/B and first floor of Area C on the interior of the building.
• Ceiling contractor will be installing ceiling grid on the first level Area A/B and permforming ceiling lay-out activites in the Cafeteria space.
• Mechanical contractor will be installing wall radiation units in the gym, cafeteria and misc spaces in Area A/B of the building.
• Flooring contractor will be installing flooring materials on the second floor and first floor of Area A/B.
• Millwork contractor will be continuing the install of classroom casework/millwork on the second floor of Area A/B.
• Electrical contractor will be terminating light fixtures and lighting controls on second and first levels of Area A/B in the building.
• Overhead Door contractor will be installing the overhead door and coiling grille on the first level of Area A/B.

This Saturday work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

The site contractor will commence with the relocation of the temporary construction fence along Baldwin Road starting on Wednesday 6/9.  This relocation is needed to support the new concrete sidewalk and curbing work adjacent to Baldwin Road.  The relocated fencing will remain in place for the remaining duration of the project.   

The project team reviewed and had this work plan approved by the Town's Department of Public Works and Fire Department.

Please see below project update for the Marblehead Elementary School: 

• The metal panel contractor shall complete the installation of the equipment screen panels located on the roof level this week. 
• The metal window contractor will continue with the installation of the remaining storefronts systems.  Additionally this contractor is scheduled to receive the delivery of skylight framing materials on Tuesday 6/8 and the associated glass and glazing materials are scheduled to ship to the site this week.
• Resilient Flooring installation is continuing in the classrooms on the second level of Areas A & B.
• The millwork contractor is continuing installation of materials on second level of Area A & B.  This contractor has a material delivery tentatively scheduled for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week.
• The misc metals contractor is scheduled to be onsite Wednesday 6/9 to install the ceiling support system at the extended learning spaces on the second level of Area A & B.  
• The elevator contractor is continuing with installation of the elevator system in Area B.  
• The tiling contractor will continue with the installation of ceramic wall tile in the corridors, single & group bathrooms on the second and first levels of Areas A & B.
• The plumbing contractor shall continue with the installation and connection of the plumbing fixtures in the classrooms on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Production taping activities in the Cafeteria will continue on the first level of Area C.
• The ceiling contractor will continue laying out the speciality ceiling system in the cafeteria on the floor to transfer up to the ceiling.
• The installation of the overhead doors and coiling grill install will continue this week.  Followed by the remaining sheetrock activities.
• The wood flooring contractor is tentatively scheduled to have the wood flooring materials deliverd to the project site on Thursday 6/10.  
• Site clean-up and grading activities will continue on the North elevation of the building.  Note this activity may require the use of a hammer drill at irregular intervals to break-up potential spots of ledge that need to be taken down to support this work activity.
• The site contractor is scheduling trucking to remove excess materials offsite this week.  Potentially 3-6 trucks will be running continuously through out the work day supporting this activity.
• Sub-grade prep for asphalt sidewalks shall continue on the North and East elevations of the site.
• The concrete flatwork contractor is continuing with sidewalk forming and reinforcing.  A concrete placement has been rescheduled to Tuesday 6/8 along the East elevation & main entrance of the building.  This was placement was rescheduled due to potential weather.
• The landscape contractor will be working on the North elevation with site and sub-grade prep along the basketball court & playground area and the playground areas on the South elevation.

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 6/5/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• Electrical contractor will be terminating light fixtures and rough-in work on first level of Area A/B in the building.
• General trades contractor will be working on sheetrocking activities in the building.
• Taping contractor will be working on taping and finishing sheetrocking activities on the second level of Area A/B and first floor of Area C on the interior of the building.
• Ceiling contractor will installing ceiling grid on the first level Area A/B and permforming ceiling lay-out activites in the Cafeteria space.
• Painting contractor will be painting the main lobby ceiling and areas in the gymnasium.
• Millwork contractor will be receiving and unloading a casework delivery on the second floor of Area A/B.
• Flooring contractor will be installing flooring materials on the second floor of Area A/B.

• The general trades contractor will continue sheetrocking activities in Stair #1 and Stair #3 spaces this week. 
• Production sheetrocking & taping activities in the Cafeteria & Gym areas will continue on the first level of Area C.
• The ceiling contractor will be laying out the speciality ceiling system in the cafeteria on the floor to transfer up to the ceiling on Friday & Saturday of this week. 
• The project is scheduled to receive and set the emergency generator located on the West side of the project site on Friday 6/4.
• Site clean-up and grading activities will continue on the North elevation of the building.  Note this activity may require the use of a hammer drill at irregular intervals to break-up potential spots of ledge that need to be taken down to support this work activity.
• The site contractor is scheduling trucking to remove excess materials offsite this week.  Potentially 3-6 trucks will be running continuously through out the work day supporting this activity.

• Marblehead Light Department will be onsite Wednesday 6/2 to install metering equipment in the building.  Their crews will be onsite for the day and will be working within the building and at the utility pole located on the corner of Cornell and Dartmouth Roads through-out the day.
