Please see below project update for the Marblehead Elementary School: 

• The metal panel contractor shall continue with the installation of the metal panel assembly at the main entrance this week. 
• The metal window contractor will continue with the installation of the skylight system at the roof level that overlooks the the Main Lobby area. 
• Resilient Flooring installation is continuing in the classrooms and ancillary rooms/offices on the second and first levels of Areas A & B.
• The millwork contractor is continuing installation of materials on second and first levels of Area A & B.  This contractor has a material delivery tentatively scheduled for Tuesday through Friday of this week.  
• The tiling contractor will continue with the installation of ceramic wall tile in Stair #1 and commence Stair #3 wall tile.
• The plumbing contractor shall continue with the installation and connection of the plumbing fixtures in the classrooms on the second and first levels of Areas A & B.
• The ceiling contractor has commenced and will continue with ceiling tile installation on the first floor of Areas A & B.  Additionally speciality ceiling systems are in progress beneath the skylight system in the corridors on the second and first floors.
• Installation of marker & tack boards shall continue in the classrooms and ancillary rooms/offices on the second level of Area A & B.
• Installation of the toilet partitions has commenced in the group bathrooms on the second floor of Area A.
• The project is tentatively scheduled to receive a wood door delivery tentatively on Wednesday 6/30 for the second floor Area A & B.
• Installation of guardrails on the second floor of the main lobby shall commence installation this week.
• The painting contractor shall complete the painting of the ceiling and MEP's in the cafeteria space in Area C.
• The athletic wood flooring contractor is scheduled to be mobilize and commence installation on Tuesday 6/29 in the gymnasium.
• The site contractor shall complete remaining sub-grade prep to support new concrete sidewalks along Baldwin Road.  
• The concrete contractor shall place and finish a portion of concrete sidewalks on the East elevation and along Baldwin Road and Stair #2 on Wednesday 6/30.  This activity is weather dependant.
• Site clean-up and grading activities will continue on the North elevation of the building.  Note this activity may require the use of a hammer drill at irregular intervals to break-up potential spots of ledge that need to be taken down to support this work activity.
• The landscape contractor will be working on North elevations with site and sub-grade prep along the basketball court & playground areas.
• The second delivery of playground equipment is scheduled to be delivered to the project site on Monday 6/28/21.
• Playground equipment is scheduled to commence installation onsite Wednesday 6/30.
• Note the project site will be observing the 4th of July Holiday on Monday 7/5.  Work will resume at the project site on Tuesday 7/6.

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 6/26/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• General trades contractor will be working on sheetrocking activities in the building.
• Taping contractor will be working on taping and finishing sheetrocking activities on the second level of Area B and first floor of Area C on the interior of the building.
• Ceiling contractor will be installing ceiling grid on the first level Area A/B and constructing speciality ceilings on the second level Area A/B.
• Millwork contractor will be continuing the install of the extended learning spaces millwork on the second floor and classroom casework/millwork on the first floor of Area A/B.
• Electrical contractor will be terminating light controls, fire alarm and tel-data devices on second and first levels of Area A/B in the building.
• Painting contractor will be painting the ceiling deck and MEP's in the cafeteria space.

This Saturday work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

• The project is scheduled to receive a wood door delivery tentatively on Tuesday 6/22 for the second floor Area A & B.
• Stair #2 located in the main lobby is scheduled to be delivered and commence install on Tuesday 6/22.
• The walk-in cooler and freezer located in the kitchen space is scheduled to be delivered and commence installation on Tuesday 6/22.
• The painting contractor is scheduled to paint the ceiling and MEP's in the cafeteria space in Area C.
• The site contractor shall be setting and installing new curbing along Baldwin Road and Jane Road on Monday 6/21.  Sub-grade prep to support new concrete sidewalks shall continue in these areas through out the work week.  
• The concrete contractor shall place and finish concrete sidewalks and storage shed pad on the South, West and North elevations of the project site on Monday 6/21/21.    
• Site clean-up and grading activities will continue on the North elevation of the building.  Note this activity may require the use of a hammer drill at irregular intervals to break-up potential spots of ledge that need to be taken down to support this work activity.
• The landscape contractor will be working on the East and North elevations with site and sub-grade prep along the basketball court & playground areas.
• The first delivery of playground equipment is scheduled to be delivered to the project site on Monday 6/21/21.

• The metal window contractor will continue with the installation of the storefronts systems on the interior of the building.  Additionally this contractor is scheduled to receive the delivery of skylight glass and glazing materials to the site this week.
• Resilient Flooring installation is continuing in the classrooms on the second and first levels of Areas A & B.
• The millwork contractor is continuing installation of materials on second level of Area A & B.  This contractor has a material delivery tentatively scheduled for Thursday and Friday of this week.
• The misc metals contractor is continuing with the install of the ceiling support system at the extended learning spaces on the second level of Area A & B.  
• The elevator contractor is continuing with installation of the elevator system in Area B.  
• The tiling contractor will continue with the installation of ceramic wall tile in the corridors, single & group bathrooms on the second and first levels of Areas A & B.
• The plumbing contractor shall continue with the installation and connection of the plumbing fixtures in the classrooms on the second level of Areas A & B.
• The ceiling contractor will continue with the installation of supports for the specaility ceiling system in the cafeteria and main lobby.
• The wood flooring contractor confirmed the wood flooring materials shall be deliverd to the project site on Thursday 6/17.  
• Site clean-up and grading activities will continue on the North elevation of the building.  Note this activity may require the use of a hammer drill at irregular intervals to break-up potential spots of ledge that need to be taken down to support this work activity.
• Sub-grade prep for asphalt sidewalks shall continue on the North and East elevations of the site.
• The landscape contractor will be working on the North elevation with site and sub-grade prep along the basketball court & playground area and the playground areas on the South elevation.
