The project will be working on the site this Saturday 3/20/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• General Trades contractor will be working on sheetrocking and framing activites on the first floor of the building.  The work crew will be utilizing power tools and scissor lift at times through out the day to support the work activities.
• The taping contractor will be working on taping and finishing activities on the first floor of the building.  
• Electrical contractor will be working in the main electrical room on rough-in and connections at the switchgear equipment. 

This Saturday work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

Please see below project update for the Marblehead Elementary School: 

• The metal window contractor shall continue the installation of storefronts & glazing installation on first level of the West & East elevations of Area A of the building.
• The metal panel contractor will continue with installation of the fiber cement panels on the West & East elevation of the building.     
• Production sheetrocking activities shall continue in the corridor spaces on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Sheetrocking taping & sanding activities will continue on the second level of Areas A & B. 
• Prime painting activities will continue in the Classroom spaces on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Installation of ceiling grid shall commence in the Classroom spaces on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Sheet rocking the top of wall activities will continue and production sheet rocking activities will continue on the first level of Areas A & B.
• The project will receive sheet rock and support material deliveries this entire week for the first floor level of Area A, B & C.
• Installation of mechanical insulation activites shall continue on the first floor of Area A & B.
• Light gauge metal framing activities in the Kitchen area shall continue on the first floor of Area B.
• Construction of the CMU Hood wall located in the Kitchen shall commence this week on the first floor of Area B.
• Rough-in of mechanical piping, ductwork, electrical & plumbing shall continue on the first level of Area C.
• Light gauge metal framing activities in the Gymnasium will continue on the first level of Area C.
• Setting and flashing of the Sklight curbs with the carpenter and roofing contractors will commence this week on the roof level of Area C.
• Piping rough-in and connections to the equipment located in the Mechanical Room will continue this week.
• Electrical rough-in in the Main Electrical Room will continue this week.  The electrical contractor will continue the rough-in and termination effort to the equipment this week.
• Marblehead Light and Department of Public Works is scheduled to complete the excavation and installation of the electrical/communication duct bank in Dartmouth Road this week.  The Light Department is tentatively scheduled to set and pull the primary feeder cables on Tuesday 3/16 followed by setting the transformer on Wednesday 3/17.

• Painting contractor will be working on prime painting activities on the second floor of the building.  
• Electrical contractor will be working in the main electrical room on rough-in and connections at the switchgear equipment.

• Electrical rough-in in the Main Electrical Room will continue this week.  The electrical switchgear was received and offloaded into the building last week.  The electrical contractor will set the equipment and beging the rough-in and termination effort to the equipment this week.
• Marblehead Light and Department of Public Works will commence with the excavation and installation of the electrical/communication duct bank to support permanent power on the West side of the project site and continue into Dartmouth Road this week. 

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 3/6/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• General Trades contractor will be working on taping, sanding and finishing activites of the sheet rock walls on the second floor of the building.  The work crew will be utilizing a scissor lift at times through out the day to support the work activities.
