Please see below project update for the Marblehead Elementary School:

• The site contractor will continue with the excavation and installation of underground drainage element and stone rip rap along the West elevation of the project site.  
• Building waterproofing detailing & flashing activities shall work to complete the leave outs at the temporary stair locations on the South and North elevations of the building.   
• The masonry contractor will follow the waterproofing contractor and commence the masonry veneer activities on the South and North elevations.
• The metal window contractor shall continue the installation of storefronts & glazing installation on the West, East & North elevations of Areas A, B & C of the building.
• The metal panel contractor has mobilized onsite to sruvey and layout.  Materials will be delivered on Monday, Thursday and Friday with installation of materials to commence the week of 1/25.  
• The roofing contractor is scheduled to return to the site to complete detail and tie in work on Area C.  Note this work is weather and temperature dependant.
• Installation of mechanical duct & piping insulation shall continue on the interior second level of Areas A & B.    
• Rough-in of in-wall electrical shall continue on the second level of Areas A & B.  Electrical inspection with the Town Inspector is scheduled for Thursday 1/21.
• Installation of in-wall blocking shall be completed on the second level of Areas A & B. 
• Sheetrocking tops of walls will continue on the second level of Areas A & B.
• Rough-in of overhead mechanical duct and piping shall continue this week on the first floor of Area A & B. 
• Interior metal framing & setting of door frames shall continue on the interior first level of Area A & B.
• Excavation, sub-grade prep & underground plumbing rough-in will continue this week in the Kitchen on the first level of Area B.
• Lay-out activities for walls shall continue on the first level of Area C.  Wall framing activities shall commence this week on this level.
• Rough-in of mechanical piping has commenced on the first level of Area C.
• Concrete placement for Stairs #1, #3 and the equipment pads located in the mechanical room is scheduled for Wednesday 1/20.  Concrete pump truck is scheduled to arrive onsite at 7AM to begin set-up for the placements.

• The masonry contractor will continue working on the South, East & North elevations of Areas B & C of the building.  
• The metal window contractor shall continue the installation of storefronts on the West, East & North elevations of Areas A, B & C of the building.

• Rough-in of in-wall plumbing and electrical shall continue on the second level of Areas A & B.

• Lay-out activities for walls shall continue on the first level of Area C.
• Installation of handrails & guardrails on Stair #3 shall continue in Area C.
• The temporary heaters and equipment have been hooked-up and will be in use starting this week.

The project will be working on the site this Saturday 01/09/21.  Activities will consist of the following:

• Laborers will be working on the interior of building performing general cleaning and organizing tasks to support a work activity scheduled to commence on Monday 1/11.  No lifts or equipment will be utilized to support these efforts. 

The allowable work hours for Saturday is 8AM – 5PM.  

This Saturday work schedule has been communicated and coordinated with both the Marblehead Building Department & Police Department.

• Installation of in-wall blocking shall continue on the second level of Area A & B. 
• Rough-in of overhead mechanical duct and piping shall continue this week on the first floor of Area A & B. 
• Interior metal framing & setting of door frames shall continue on the interior first level of Area A & B.
• The temporary heaters and equipment will continue with hook-up and are scheduled to start-up for use the week of 1/4.

• The metal window contractor shall continue the installation of windows & storefronts on the West & East elevation of Areas A & B of the building. 
• Rough-in of overhead mechanical, electrical, fire protection and plumbing shall continue on the interior second level of Areas A & B. 
• Installation of mechanical piping insulation shall continue on the interior second level of Areas A & B.    
• Interior metal framing shall continue on the interior second level of Areas A & B.  Installation of insulation on the exterior walls shall continue this week on this level.  
• Rough-in of in-wall plumbing and electrical shall continue on the second level of Area A. 
• Rough-in of overhead mechanical duct and piping shall continue this week on the first floor of Area A. 
• Interior metal framing & setting of door frames shall continue on the interior first level of Area A.
• The temporary heaters and equipment will continue with hook-up and are scheduled to start-up for use the week of 12/28.
• The project site will not be working on Friday 1/1/21 due to the Holiday; work will recommence on Monday 1/4/21.
