Revised Project Vehicle Parking Plan - 9/16, 9/20, 9/21

The project is currently scheduled to prep and final pave the project site over a three day period starting on Friday 9/17, Monday 9/20 and Tuesday 9/21.  To support these work activities project vehicles will need to park outside of the project limits in the surrounding neighborhood during this period of time.

The project has developed the attached parking logicstics plan to help illustrate the location and streets the project vehicles will be parking on during this period of time.  The project will have monitors in the neighborhood each morning to ensure this plan is being followed.

Revised Street Parking on Baldwin Road - Week of 8/17/20

Please see below the revised street parking plan on Baldwin & Smith Road for the Week of 8/17/20:

  • The structural steel roof joists are scheduled to be delivered to the project site on two seperate days the week of 8/17/20.  Due to the size of the materials being delivered to the project there will be designated No Parking areas along both sides of Baldwin & Smith Roads.  The project has created a site plan attached to this posting identifying the No Parking areas for the time periods noted below.  Click the "Read More" button at the bottom of this posting to view the site plan.
  • The No Parking periods shall be for the following:
    • Tuesday 8/18 – 7AM-3:00PM
    • Thursday 8/20 – 7AM-3:00PM
  • No Parking signs will be posted along Baldwin & Smith Roads on Monday 8/17.
  • The project has scheduled three (3) Police details to accompany the deliveries each day to assist with traffic management and lead the deliveries down Baldwin Road. 
  • This revised parking plan and material delivery has been communicated and coordinated with the Marblehead Police Department.

Morning Equipment Departure - June 25, 2020

The ground improvement activities are scheduled to be completed Wednesday 6/24/20.  The contractor will begin demobilizing the equipment Wednesday 6/24 and preparing it for transport on Thursday morning 6/25.  Please see below detailed schedule of activites for these two days:

  • Wednesday - 6/24/20 
    • Demobilize support equipment and materials.
    • Once ground improvement activities have been completed that day the pier driving rig will be dismantled and loaded for transport.  This is to support a pick-up and exit with the equipment on Thursday morning; there will not be any loading of equipment on Thursday morning.

 

  • Thursday - 6/25/20
    • Transport personnel & truck will be onsite by 5:30AM to hook-up to the trailer for transport.  The transport truck will enter the project site via Gate B, hook-up to the trailer and exit the project via Gate C to West Shore Drive to Route 114.

 

This morning equipment departure has been communicated and coordinated with the Marblehead Police Department.
